Two Sites, One Mission
“With two operational sites in Altenwerder and Försterkamp, Ernst Logistik focuses on tank containers, tank trucks and silo trucks both in the Hamburg area. The company's commitment to excellence is evident as we handle everything in-house, from collection and storage to unloading, cleaning, and professional disposal of residual materials. For the latter, we exclusively partnered up with Indaver. We wanted to rely completely on a professional partner who understands the importance of complete control over the disposal process. Hazardous substances require a professional approach
“Cleanliness and refillability of the tank containers is an important matter for us and our customers of course. We make sure they are 100% clean, and Indaver guarantees that the waste is disposed of in an orderly, environmentally friendly manner. We collect the residue left in the tanks after the cleaning activities as well as the cleaning waters. This sometimes is a dangerous conglomerate of many substances that changes frequently. Therefore, it is important to entrust this to one supplier who is reliable and has the know-how to know what we need. For us the relationship with Ralf Ojemann, Indaver account manager, is built on trust and understanding. He supports us in all waste-related domains, effective problem-solving and continuous improvement. Our compatibility and shared goals result in a successful business partnership.”
Building Sustainable Practices
Sustainability is a core value for Ernst Logistik, driven by their commitment to future generations. “Our company actively addresses environmental impact by reducing fossil fuel consumption and minimizing waste. Together with Indaver we reorganized our internal processes resulting in
significant waste reduction and long-term sustainability goals. We are also converting to more climate neutral energy solutions. We have therefore invested in a photovoltaic system, solar thermal system, air source heat pump and an on-site turbine for waste water heat recovery.
