As Total Waste Management (TWM) Coordinator you will develop and coordinate the Operations of assigned TWM sites (based mainly on pharmaceutical sites) ensuring seamless movement of wastes from collection points to final outlet.

This includes the servicing of the customer needs in accordance with the contracts sold, the processing of waste at collection points and the final packaging and dispatch of all waste to final outlet in accordance with Industry regulations and company procedures. Doing this while ensuring, excellent service, quality and optimum cost control and providing excellent team management and development.

This role will cover Cork and the Munster region

 

Function description

  • Lead, monitor and coordinate a leading safety culture on the customer sites in order to satisfy safety legislation, company standards and work in partnership with the customer regarding safety.
  • Lead and develop the onsite teams ensuring high levels of employee engagement and the creation of a positive working environment
  • Maintain and improve all sites waste related processes and tasks in order to guarantee maximum customer satisfaction at an acceptable cost.
  • Develop and implement continuous process improvements opportunities at the customer sites.
  • Ensure sufficient resources are available for the provision of the contracted service and  training of staff is provided and up to date. Also having the tools and consumables required for the smooth operation of the On-site service always available.
  • Support the Key Account Manager to prepare competitive tenders incorporating innovative, cost efficient and operational excellence practices.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships

 

Function

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Chemical / Waste knowledge is essential
  • DGSA / IMDG certification preferred
  • Computer literate
  • SAP experience is preferred but not essential
  • Focused on achieving results through continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Strong customer ethos
  • Demonstrate proven leadership skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the EU
