Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze commercial requests regarding the waste flows that have to be treated, in order to determine the most suitable treatment technique based on the waste characterization, the legal waste stipulations and the internal regulation concerned (Codes of Good Practice).
  • Analyze and tactically determine which of the possible treatment installation(s) (= outlets) (internal-external) in Europe will come into consideration to sell the commercial request with maximum success chance and margin.
  • Negotiate with external treatment installations in order to obtain the best pricing and capacity conditions and to determine the boundary conditions (acceptance criteria, delivery terms, tasks and responsibilities, payment terms,...).
  • Interact with internal departments to align waste properties and packaging on the treatment possibilities of internal installations
  • The development of a "total concept" per client file and the discussion of this file with the responsible sales colleague to determine the optimal sales technique in order to obtain the contract with the highest possible added-value margin for Indaver.
  • Re-evalution of tender screening table or request in relation to new information, new samples, new analysis, … , received from customer during sales negotiation phase or kick-off implementation at customer’s site.
  • Interact where appropriate with group and regional internal departments in order to fulfil in an efficient and timely way the implementation.
  • Translate the commercial agreement with the treatment center(s) into an operational implementation.
  • Deliver input to establish notifications on-time.
  • Follow-up of the implementation of the data flow (price, acceptance criteria,..) in the SAP database system to make sure one can at all times have access to reliable and accurate information.
  • Attend to the daily collaboration with the outlets in order to solve problems efficiently and to spot opportunities in future Renewal Negotiations.
  • Identify, analyze and implement the optimalizations in existing files referring to the pricing and treatment possibilities starting from its role as product manager.
  • Proactive screening of the outlet market in order to extend the offer in treatment possibilities and treatment capacity. Follow-up of the market developments and trends referring to treatment techniques, treatment installations, market evolutions,… to allow the WT Manager to choose strategic outlets and to assist the Indaver Management in taking future-oriented decisions with regard to partnerships and/or own treatment techniques.
  • Development of an information file per client to safeguard the information of the waste flow, its treatment possibilities and rates.
  • Manage, coach, motivate and follow-up of the employees so everyone knows what is expected of them, if they have the necessary competences and if they carry out the assignments that are entrusted to them in an efficient and effective way.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • 3rd Level Degree is required
  • 1-4 years experience in an industrial working environment; preferably in a project-like function
