What will your working day look like?

As Lead Developer, you translate the business processes within Indaver into IT solutions. In doing so, you go through the entire process: from process analysis - including identifying potential bottlenecks - and advice to solutions, implementation and documentation. You develop a clear vision and goals for the various projects. You coordinate and delegate work within the team. You prepare detailed project schedules with timelines, milestones and resources for software development. In case of development problems, you ensure timely adjustment and reporting on the new schedule. Budget management is also your responsibility. Finally, you will also manage a small team of developers.

What will be your biggest challenge?

In addition to your excellent technical knowledge and broad experience, you will be our liaison between the development team and the various internal stakeholders. You are therefore a communicative team player who is customer-oriented. You ensure that the different teams work together smoothly, supporting, giving feedback and motivating the developers. You define clear objectives so everyone knows what is expected of them. You also play an active role in IT Process Management and Governance. One way you do this is by documenting high-level IT processes and keeping them up to date as a gatekeeper. You also have an eye for current trends.

How will you make a difference?

• You have a master's degree in an IT field or a bachelor's degree with relevant work experience
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience
• You have knowledge of software development such as React/Native, Angular, Azure.
• Knowledge of Agile and CI/CD is a plus
• You are a communicative team player.

Where will you be working?

Indaver is an international waste treatment and management company committed to a sustainable circular future. It extracts new raw materials and energy from the residual flows. Hazardous components are destroyed in order to keep the material circuit safe.  Your work location is Singelberg (Kallo), Indaver's head office.

You will be part of the IT Development & Innovation team which is part of the Indaver Shared Service Centre IT. Together with your team, you will be responsible for software development, integration and implementation of innovative IT tools and processes. Some of these tasks are carried out by colleagues in North Macedonia and by hired consultants. Indaver works mainly with SAP and SAP BTP for ERP-related activities. We also use Mendix and MS Powerplatform for no/low coding, Azure IS as middleware and for tailored engineering, Flutter or React Native are on the radar.
